Looking
back
Barbara Personnel came to life in 1973 when Barbara Cloutier, a strong-willed
23-year-old woman was driven by her natural flair for business. She
quickly realized there was a need for a firm whose main focus was on
offering conscientious and professional placement services.
In the 21st Century?
Barbara Personnel is staffed by highly skilled, experienced, bilingual
recruitment specialists providing the National Capital Region with the
best cost-effective employment services.
The firm's success stems in part from the commitment of a woman who,
in 1973, dared to enter a male-dominated business world and engaged
in a never-ending search for excellence. Since then, Barbara Personnel
has earned an outstanding reputation for excellent customer service
and has won several awards including:
- the Award for Excellence in the Services category of the 1987 "Salon
de la PME de l'Outaouais";
- personality of the month (February 1988) at the Outaouais Chamber
of Commerce;
- named Entrepreneur of the Year in the publication "Revue Affaires+",
in 1989;
- governor of the Outaouais Chamber of Commerce since 1992;
- the Regroupement des gens d'affaires Association Award for Excellence
in the "Entrepreneur: Medium/Large Business" category, in 1997.
- January 2003 Barbara Cloutier was named Personnality of the Month by the
'Chamber of Commerce of Gatineau' and in November 2003 she was crowned Personnality of the Year.
